The Grimaldi Group has proudly expanded its fleet with the addition of the Eco Salerno, the 13th vessel of the Grimaldi Green 5th Generation (GG5G) series. Delivered on December 3, 2024, by the Jinling shipyard in Nanjing, the Eco Salerno embodies the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the maritime sector.

Measuring 238 meters in length and boasting a loading capacity of 3,000 linear meters, this hybrid ro-ro ship is equipped with state-of-the-art green technologies. Its scrubbers and lithium-ion batteries allow energy storage during navigation, ensuring zero emissions during port operations.
