9 June 2023 Marine Partners - Monaco Honored to have received on board the ship Laura Bassi the Minister Anna Maria Bernini. The Minister of University and Research, Senator Anna Maria Bernini, visited the icebreaking ship Laura Bassi in Trieste on 9 June and met the researchers and crew of the ship which, during its last expedition to Antarctica, reached the southernmost point ever touched by a boat. Together with Mayor Roberto Dipiazza, the Minister Bernini attached the coat of arms of the city of Trieste to a wall of the bridge, which OGS received as a gift from the Municipality last May 30 during the delivery of the fourteenth-century seal.
